Cornish Pasties
Cornish Pasties is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 pie crust shells, 1 lb. round steak, cut in 1/2-inch cubes, 2 large carrots, sliced or 1 c. rutabaga, cubed, 4 tbsp. margarine and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 425°.
Place 1 cup potato, 1/4 of the rutabaga or carrots, 1/4 of the round steak, 1/4 of the raw onion, 1 tablespoon butter and salt and pepper on half of unbaked pie shell. Fold over.
Seal by moistening edge.
Bake at 425° for 12 minutes; lower to 350°. Bake 1 hour longer.
