Cornbread Stuffing
Cornbread Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. ballard old south cornbread mix, baked as directed, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. pepperidge farm herb stuffing mix, 1 stick butter, 3 stalks chopped celery and 3 small onions, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix the baked cornbread with the package of herb stuffing mix and set aside.
In saucepan, combine the butter, chopped celery, onions, water, salt and black pepper.
Cook until tender.
Combine with dry mixture along with eggs and stock from turkey or chicken to moisten as needed.
Place in large, buttered baking pan and bake in a 300Β° oven for about 30 minutes.
