Cornbread Sausage
Cornbread Sausage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. (7oz.) brown and serve sausage patties, 1/4 c. margarine (divided), 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, 1 c. chopped celery and 1/2 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 350Β°F.
Grease 3-quart casserole dish.
Cut sausage patties into pieces.
Melt 1 Tablespoon of margarine in large skillet over medium-high heat, add walnuts; cook and stir until lightly browned.
Remove nuts from skillet.
Melt the remaining margarine in skillet.
Add celery and onion; cook until tender.
Toss together all ingredients except juice and water in a large bowl.
Add juice and water; stir together.
Spoon into casserole dish and cover.
Bake 1 hour or until hot.
