Cornbread
Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. white cornmeal, 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix dry ingredients together, then add eggs and buttermilk. Mix together well.
Best to use iron skillet.
Put Crisco in iron skillet; heat in oven until melted.
Add about half of melted Crisco to cornbread mix; mix well.
Pour into iron skillet.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 425Β°.
