Combine all ingredients except corn in saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add corn and bring again to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes, or until corn is just tender.
Serve hot or cold.
Makes 2 cups.
