Corn Fritters
Corn Fritters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 beaten egg, 2 tbsp. melted margarine and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and pepper together.
Add egg, milk and margarine.
Stir to moisten.
Stir in corn.
Add oil to large skillet.
Heat oil to medium hot.
Drop corn mixture by tablespoonful into hot skillet.
Turn each corn fritter over when it is golden brown.
Fry until second side is golden brown.
Remove from pan.
Top with maple syrup, if desired and serve.
