Corn Flake Cookies
Corn Flake Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. oleo, 1 c. white sugar, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1 egg and 1 small pkg. dates or raisins, cut fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Sprinkle over dates 1 level teaspoon soda and pour 1/2 cup boiling water over; let stand.
Cream oleo and sugar.
Add egg and cream well.
Mix in 3 cups flour and 1 teaspoon vanilla with the creamed mixture.
Fold in date soda mixture thoroughly.
Last, fold in 1 cup crushed corn flakes and 1 cup nuts, if desired. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 minutes.
