Corn Chowder
Corn Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 slices bacon, 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings, 2 medium potatoes, diced (1 1/2 c.), 1/2 c. water and 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large saucepan, cook bacon until crisp.
Remove, crumble and set aside.
Reserve 3 tablespoons bacon drippings in saucepan; discard remainder.
Add onion slices to saucepan and cook until lightly brown.
Add potatoes and water and cook until potatoes are tender.
Add corn, milk, salt and pepper.
Cook until it starts to boil.
Serve with crackers.
Serves 4 to 5.
