Corn Chowder
Corn Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced (2 1/2 c.), 1 c. water, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 (11 oz.) can whole kernel corn and 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can cream-style corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bring potatoes, onion and water to a boil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring once or twice until potatoes are tender.
Stir in rest of ingredients.
Simmer, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes for flavor to develop.
Add ham or tuna, if desired.
