Corn Chowder
Corn Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bacon, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 tbsp. flour, 4 c. water and 1 1/2 c. diced potato, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In kettle, fry bacon until crisp.
Remove from pot and reserve.
Pour off all but 3 tablespoons fat.
Add onion and saute until tender (5 minutes).
Blend in flour.
Add water and potato. Bring to a boil and simmer about 15 minutes.
Add corn and milk; heat well.
Crumble bacon and add to chowder.
Season to taste.
