Corn Bread Stuffed Squash
Corn Bread Stuffed Squash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium size squash, 1 1/2 c. corn bread crumbs, 1 small onion, chopped, 1 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Wash squash well; cover with cold water.
Bring to boil and boil rapidly for 20 minutes, or until squash is tender.
Mix all other ingredients.
Cut squash in the center the long way.
Scoop out seeds and pulp; add to bread crumb mixture.
Salt and pepper squash shells lightly.
Stuff with bread crumb stuffing; place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes, or until brown.
