Cook about 1 quart cut up zucchini or yellow squash until tender.

Drain and chop coarsely.

In a small skillet, cook a large chopped onion in butter until soft.

Add 1/2 cup cream and 5 or 6 saltines or some bread crumbs.

Combine squash and onion mixture; salt and pepper to taste.

Pour into greased casserole; cover with bread crumbs.

Bake at 350Β° until crumbs are brown.
