Cool Summer Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 (3 oz.) box jell-o (ex: strawberry) and 1 (8 oz.) cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook cake according to directions.
Remove and allow to cool. Poke holes in cake with fork.
Mix Jell-O using 1 cup only of water.
Pour Jell-O over cake, making sure all holes have Jell-O in them.
Refrigerate until Jell-O is set in cake.
Cover with Cool Whip when ready to serve.
