Cookie Sheet Cake
Cookie Sheet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted plain flour, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 stick margarine and 1/2 c. salad oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Melt margarine in pot over low heat. Add oil, water and cocoa and let come to a boil. Stir in flour mixture after turning pot off heat.
Stir soda in buttermilk and add eggs and vanilla. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 12 x 18-inch or 2 small oblong pans.
