Cooked Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. milk, 1/4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook milk and flour until thick; stir while cooking.
Beat sugar, butter, Crisco and vanilla until fluffy like whipped cream. Add to cooled flour mixture and beat until all sugar is dissolved and looks fluffy.
Will store 3 to 4 weeks in refrigerator.
Just whip again before use.
Great on chocolate cake!
