Congo Bars
Congo Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. butter, melted and 2 1/4 c. light brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sift together the dry ingredients.
In a bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. beaten well after each.
Add the dry ingredients, nuts and chips.
Mix well and put in pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean from center. (Makes 32 squares.)
