Congo Bars
Congo Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. shortening and 1 box brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix all these ingredients together (mixture will be thick). Spread into well-greased long and deep cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
