Congo Bars
Congo Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 lb. brown sugar, 1 c. walnuts and 2 1/2 tbsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix all of the ingredients with hands.
Spread in ungreased pan (9 1/2 x 13-inch) and bake for 1/2 hour or until edges are brown.
Cool 10 minutes before cutting into bars.
Makes 12 good sized bars.
