Conga Squares
Conga Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. margarine, 1 lb. light brown sugar, 2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1 c. broken pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Melt margarine and cool.
Add brown sugar and vanilla and beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to sugar mixture, stirring well, then add chocolate chips and pecans, mixing well.
Bake in a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan at 350Β° for about 25 minutes (underbake).
Cool and cut into squares.
