Conga Bars
Conga Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. margarine (1 stick plus 2 2/3 tbsp.), 1 lb. brown sugar, 3 eggs, 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour and 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Set oven to 375Β°.
Cream the margarine.
Add the sugar gradually. Add one egg at a time, beating constantly. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add a little at a time.
Beat in vanilla, chocolate and nuts. Spread evenly in pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
Cool before cutting. Makes 24 to 30 pieces.
