Comfort Cake
Comfort Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 3 c. flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
Then add oil, eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Add apples and raisins.
Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 325° to 350° for 1/2 hour or until cake shrinks from sides of pan.
This cake is moist and keeps well for a long time, if nobody finds it.
If they do, it's a flash in the pan.
