Colorado Beans
Colorado Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices bacon, 3 large onions, sliced, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. vinegar and 1 can green limas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Fry bacon until done.
Drain and keep until later.
Cook sliced onions in bacon grease.
It is best to cover skillet and let them cook slowly until they are limp.
Add brown sugar and vinegar.
Drain all beans, except pork and beans.
Add beans to onions along with crumbled bacon.
Bake in 2-quart casserole or bean pot at 350Β° for 1 hour.
