Colonade Frosting
Colonade Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. water, 3 tbsp. white corn syrup, 3 egg whites (room temperature) and 1/4 c. confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix sugar, water and syrup and cook to soft boil stage.
Set aside, beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
Slowly add hot syrup to beaten egg whites, beating constantly until frosting is creamy.
Add confectioners sugar and vanilla and beat to spreading consistency.
