Collard Greens
Collard Greens is an easy dinner. Made with collard greens (any green leafy vegetable), 2 or 3 slices bacon, 1 c. water and about 1 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Place bacon in large heavy kettle.
Brown carefully.
Add 1 cup water to hot kettle.
Put in collards (that have been washed and torn from large stems).
Turn burner to lowest heat (not simmer).
Cook 1 hour.
Add about 1 1/2 cups water before putting lid on to cook.
