Coleslaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. vinegar, 3/4 tsp. salt, 8 c. shredded cabbage and 1 green pepper, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil. Cool. Combine with the rest of the ingredients.
Mix well. May add 2 or 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, if desired.
Chill.
Keeps in refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.
