Have ingredients at room temperature.
Cream butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour and milk alternately.
Stir in flavorings.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Place in cold oven.
Turn to 350Β° and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Remove from pan and cover immediately.
Don't open and serve until next day.
