Cold Oven Cake
Cold Oven Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, softened, 1/2 c. vegetable shortening, 3 c. granulated sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 tsp. lemon extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven to 300Β°.
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. In large bowl at medium speed, cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and lemon extracts.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
At low speed, beat in flour.
Add evaporated milk; beat until well blended. Bake 1 hour and 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool in pan on wire rack. Remove from pan.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
