Coconut Rum Balls
Coconut Rum Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. vanilla wafer crumbs, 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut (approximate), 1 c. finely chopped nuts, 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened milk and 1/2 c. rum or use 1/2 c. water and 1 tsp. rum extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine crumbs, coconut and nuts in a bowl.
Stir in condensed milk and rum, mixing well.
Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in confectioners sugar to coat.
Cover and store in refrigerator. Roll again in sugar just before serving.
Makes 6 dozen candies.
