Coconut Pound Cake

Cream sugar, Crisco and butter on low until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Add to batter at 1/2 cup at a time.
Alternate with milk.
Add flavoring and coconut.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 315Β° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Moist and delicious.
