Coconut Pound Cake
Coconut Pound Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. hot water and 1 tsp. coconut extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix together sugar and hot water.
Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Bring to a boil and let boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add coconut extract.
Mix well.
Punch holes in the hot cake and pour mixture over cake.
Let the cake cool for 1 hour before removing from pan.
May sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired, after removing from pam.
