Together flour, cornstarch, sugar and salt.
Add milk. Cook until thick.
Add 1/2 of the mixture to egg yolks. Stir well.
Add other 1/2 of mixture.
Stir well and return to same saucepan.
Cook 5 minutes longer.
Add coconut and vanilla.
Put in baked pie crust.
