Coconut Bars
Coconut Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. flour, sifted, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, well beaten and 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix flour, butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar together.
Pat mixture into an 8 x 10-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes. Combine eggs with rest of ingredients and mix thoroughly. Spread over the baked pastry. Return to oven and bake 20 to 30 minutes. When cold, ice with powdered sugar icing. Sprinkle some chopped nuts over top and cut into bars of desired size when cooled well.
