Coconut Bars
Coconut Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. flour, 2 eggs and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Have butter at room temperature; chop nuts and grease 8 x 12-inch baking pan.
Mix first 3 ingredients until well blended. Press into pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Do not brown.
Mix remaining ingredients except coconut and spread over batter in pan.
Sprinkle top with coconut and bake at 325Β° for about 25 minutes or until brown.
Cut into squares while still warm.
