Cocoa Crunch Bars
Cocoa Crunch Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa, 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. honey or light corn syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Melt butter in medium saucepan; remove from heat and blend in cocoa.
Add brown sugar, corn syrup or honey, vanilla and salt; blend well.
Combine oats and nuts in large mixing bowl.
Pour chocolate mixture over dry ingredients.
Stir to blend well.
Line a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Generously grease foil.
Press mixture into pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool; peel off foil.
Cut into bars.
Store in tightly covered container.
Makes about 3 dozen bars.
