Cocoa Chip Chews
Cocoa Chip Chews is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. soft shortening (may use 1/2 butter), 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. flour, 3 eggs, well beaten and 1 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Crumb together shortening, brown sugar and flour and press into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
While that is baking, stir in with well beaten eggs the next 5 ingredients.
Then mix in coconut and chocolate chips. Spread on baked crust.
Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown. Cool and cut.
