Place margarine in baking dish and put in the oven to melt. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and egg, then add milk.
Mix lightly; leave somewhat lumpy.
Too much mixing will toughen the dough.
Pour in can of fruit (any kind of fruit).
Bake at 375Β° until done.
