Cloverleaf Rolls
Cloverleaf Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. cold water, 2 pkg. yeast, 2 well beaten eggs and 7 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Pour boiling water over shortening.
When melted, add cold water and salt.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Add eggs, sugar and flour; mix well.
Put into large greased bowl.
Cover with wax paper and towel.
Refrigerate.
Put rolls into greased muffin tin and let rise for 2 1/2 to 3 hours before baking.
Bake to golden brown at 375Β°.
This dough will keep for up to 6 weeks in the refrigerator.
