Cloverleaf Rolls
Cloverleaf Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. salt (level), 2 eggs, beaten and 2 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and shortening.
Mix until dissolved.
Let stand until lukewarm.
Dissolve 2 yeast cakes in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
Mix with other ingredients.
Add 2 beaten eggs.
Start adding flour gradually until all is used up.
Set in refrigerator overnight.
In the morning take out and knead on board.
Form into 3 little balls and put in cupcake pans.
Let raise for 3 hours in warm place covered with a damp cloth.
When raised nicely, bake in 400Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Brush top with butter before baking.
