Cloverleaf Rolls
Cloverleaf Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. shortening, 2 eggs and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Melt butter for the top of rolls when you bake them.
Soften dry yeast in warm water.
Scald milk; add sugar, salt and shortening.
Add flour and mix well.
Add softened yeast and eggs; beat well.
Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
Turn out onto floured board and knead.
Place in greased bowl to let rise until double.
Make into rolls and let rise in greased baking pans. Bake at 350Β° until brown.
