Cloverleaf Bran Rolls
Cloverleaf Bran Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. shortening, 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. all-bran cereal, 1/4 c. sugar and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Let cool to lukewarm.
Add remaining ingredients.
Use enough flour to make a soft dough (sticky).
Cover bowl and let rise until doubled in bulk.
Punch down and shape into balls.
Dip balls in butter and place 3 in each cup of a muffin pan that has been well greased. Let rise until doubled.
Bake at 375Β° for 15 minutes.
Makes about 16 to 18 rolls.
