Classic Lasagna
Classic Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground chuck, 1 lb. roll sausage, 2 chopped onions, 1 can tomatoes and 3 cans tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown meat; add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, salt, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning, pepper and oregano.
Simmer uncovered about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles while preparing sauce.
In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, spread 1 cup sauce.
Then alternate layers of noodles, sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, ending with sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in preheated oven at 350Β° for approximately 45 minutes.
Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
