Cream butter, adding sugar gradually in small bowl.
In large bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add 1 egg at a time to creamed mixture, blending well after each addition.
Mix creamed mixture with milk and flavorings alternately to flour mixture. Blend well after each addition.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 45 to 55 minutes.
