Cinnamon Twists
Cinnamon Twists is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sour cream or sweet milk, 2 tbsp. shortening, 3 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. soda and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Bring the cream or milk to a boil.
Remove from heat; add shortening, sugar, soda and salt and mix well.
Cool to lukewarm and add egg and yeast (dissolved in a little warm water).
Stir the mix into the flour and knead the dough a little.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Roll and spread with melted butter; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll in a long roll and slice.
Put rolls in cake pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
When cool, ice with favorite icing.
