Cinnamon Tea Cakes
Cinnamon Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft margarine, 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, 2 1/4 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In large bowl of electric mixer, at medium speed, beat margarine until light and fluffy.
Then, at low speed, blend in 1/2 cup sugar, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, the salt and vanilla (dough will be stiff).
Chill in refrigerator 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Lightly grease cookie sheet.
Roll dough with fingers into 1-inch balls.
Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet; bake 10 minutes.
On piece of waxed paper, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon.
Roll hot tea cakes in this mixture. Place on wire racks; cool.
Makes 3 dozen.
