Cinnamon Tea Cakes
Cinnamon Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft margarine, 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, 2 1/4 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In large bowl of electric mixer, at medium speed, beat margarine until light and fluffy.
Then, at low speed, blend in 1/2 cup sugar, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, the salt and vanilla (dough will be stiff).
Chill in refrigerator 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Lightly grease cookie sheet.
Roll dough with fingers into 1-inch balls.
Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet; bake 10 minutes.
On piece of waxed paper, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon.
Roll hot tea cakes in this mixture. Place on wire racks; cool.
Makes 3 dozen.
