Cinnamon Sugar Syrup
Cinnamon Sugar Syrup is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. water, 2 tbsp. light corn syrup and 1 cinnamon stick or pinch of ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine ingredients in 1-quart saucepan.
Bring to boil, shaking pan gently until sugar dissolves, then boil, without stirring, until thick and syrupy for 8 to 10 minutes.
Discard cinnamon stick and store in jar with screw top.
Store in refrigerator and shake well before using (or warm in microwave). Yields 2 cups.
