Cinnamon Snaps
Cinnamon Snaps is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, softened (1 stick), 3/4 c. plus 3 tbsp. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Beat butter and 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and extract.
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well.
Combine cinnamon and remaining 3 tablespoons sugar in small bowl.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Place 2 inches apart on lightly buttered cookie sheet. Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
Let stand on cookie sheet.
Transfer to wire cooling racks.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
