Cinnamon Ring Pickle
Cinnamon Ring Pickle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 gal. cucumbers, peeled, seeded and cut into sticks or rings, 2 c. lime, 2 gal. water, 1 c. vinegar and 1 tbsp. alum, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix the lime and 2 gallons of water.
Let stand 24 hours.
Drain and wash.
Soak 3 hours in ice water.
Simmer 2 hours in the vinegar, alum, red coloring and enough water to cover pickles.
