Cinnamon Nut Syrup is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 3/4 c. dark corn syrup, 2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat all ingredients, except nuts, in a 9-inch heavy skillet over medium heat to boiling, without stirring (approximately 15 minutes).
Be sure to watch carefully as this burns easily.
Stir in nuts.
Cool slightly and pour over ice cream.
