Cinnamon Biscuits

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cut shortening into flour mixture until it looks like rice grains.
Add milk to flour mixture gradually.
Stir with fork until it forms soft dough; knead.
Roll to 1/4-inch.
Spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Roll into pinwheels; cut into 12 biscuits.
Bake at 425Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yields 1 dozen biscuits.
